Purpose

We explain how clinics usually count pregnancy after transfer, retrieval, or IUI, and we keep one calculator for that math. The audience is people who already have dates on paper.

How a dating number is chosen

Human pregnancy is commonly counted as 266 days from fertilization. Subtract documented embryo age, add the remainder to the clinic date. Frozen storage time is not added.

We check offsets against public material such as ACOG Committee Opinion 700. Official obstetric charts still belong to the clinic.
